Microdermabrasion

At ADAS, microdermabrasion is a great way to exfoliate your skin while deep cleansing your pores. Microdermabrasion makes use of mechanical exfoliation (unlike chemical peels). It is a great treatment to reduce blackheads, whiteheads, acne, acne scars and tiny, fine lines. Microdermabrasion should not be used for patients with thinning or delicate skin. Youthful, oily skin with blackheads and whiteheads tends to respond best to this type of treatment. Light Microdermabrasion with a simultaneous facial is an advanced technique for our patients in Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra Beach and Fleming Island. We can also combine microdermabrasion with our anti acne Blu-U™ light or Fraxel:restore™ treatment.
