Deep Cleansing Facial

This is a great treatment for our patients in Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra Beach and Fleming Island who suffer from congested skin.

The skin is cleansed with a deep cleanser. The cleanser is then removed with warm towels and cleansed the second time. Next your skin will be massaged for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. After massaging the skin a Replenix™ Bamboo scrub will be applied vigorously in order to exfoliate the top layer of skin. The Bamboo Scrub will then be removed with a hot steamy towel. Now we are ready to extract and clean out the congested pores. After extractions are performed we will apply a salicylic acid mask, this mask will remain on the skin for 10 to 15 minutes then removed with more hot steamy towels followed by cold towels in order to close up the pores. We will then apply a toner followed by a hydrating gel. Now we are ready to moisturize the skin and under eye area. If your skin is very congested you may experience some bruising, in most cases the bruising will go away within three to five days. Arnica can be used to reduce this bruising if you would like to initiate a prefacial regimen.
