Acne Facial

Acne Facials are great treatment for our acne prone patients in Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra Beach and Fleming Island. skin. Your skin will feel cleaner than ever....that is, until your next acne facial. ADAS providers usually recommend a series of five acne facials spaced out monthly for the best results.

To start the acne facial, your skin will be cleansed with our special exfoliation cleanser and debris/makeup removed with a hot steamy towel. This cleansing step is repeated a second time to ensure effectiveness. The skin is subsequently massaged using a sensitive skin product for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. After massaging the skin, a gentle scrub is applied vigorously to exfoliate the top layer of skin. The scrub is then removed with a hot steamy towel and a light microdermabrasion is performed to unplug clogged pores. After microdermabrasion, the skin is cleansed for a third time and is subsequently analyzed using a powerful magnifying light. Blackheads and whiteheads are then removed in the acne facial with a gentle instrument. This process will take approximately ten minutes. After extractions, we will apply a special Glytone™ mask to the skin and remove it with soothing steamy towel. Following this, a cold towel is used to close the pores. We will then treat the skin with our special acne toner and moisturizer. Acne facials will last approximately one hour. Your skin will feel fresh, clean and very smooth. You may experience a slight warm feeling with this treatment. This warm feeling should resolve within one to two hours. Residual skin redness should resolve by the next morning.
